VENUE

The Historic Kofman Theater opened over 80 years ago in 1926 as part of what was then the brand new Alameda High School. Though it is remarkably beautiful and classic in its original construction, the theater has been updated aesthetically and technologically over the years. The Kofman is now equipped with a state of the art lighting system in addition to an audio setup that includes a new assistive listening device system for the hearing impaired.

This 2,000 seat venue has been host to literally thousands of productions over the years from High School plays and recitals, to community benefits and professional shows such as The Hip Hop Homeroom.

We believe you’ll find the Kofman stage to be the ideal place to bring our one-of-a-kind show to life!
